Charlotte fc x new england revolution

Charlotte FC defeated the shorthanded New England Revolution 3-1 at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday night, with Karol Swiderski scoring a brace and Benjamin Bender adding another. Miguel ngel Ramirez's team had a fantastic start. Swiderski, a Polish international striker, scored the expansion team's first goal in front of their home fans in the sixth minute with a scorching effort from outside the area.

In the 54th minute, Carles Gil equalized for the Revs from the penalty spot. Three minutes later, however, Swiderski put Charlotte back in front with his second goal of the game, this time on a cutback from Bender. Seven minutes later, the No. 1 choice in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft scored his first professional goal to make it 3-1.

Charlotte FC celebrates its first victory in Major League Soccer, and they do so against the Supporters' Shield winners from the previous season. The Revs, on the other hand, have had a bad week after being eliminated from the Champions League and blowing a two-goal lead against Real Salt Lake last weekend. The international break could not have come at a better moment for Bruce Arena and his teammates, who are facing major challenges.
