The United States Women's National Team defeated Uzbekistan 9-0 in their second encounter in four days, which was also the first meeting between the two countries. Lavelle dribbled down the right flank, rounded her defender, and fired a cross into the box, which Uzbekistan defender Kamila Zaripova deflected into her own net on her attempted clearance.

After an impressive display of power, Macario completed her hat trick just before halftime, shielding the ball inside the box, turning on her defender, and burying a low shot into the lower-left corner to give the USA a six-goal advantage. In the 71st minute, a USA substitute paid off when Rodman, who was playing in only her third cap, sprinted onto a ball inside the penalty area after a pass from midfielder Ashley Sanchez rebounded off a defender. For her first international goal, the 19-year-old took a touch and sent a right-footed shot into the left side-netting, becoming the 31st teenager to score for the USWNT and the first since Tierna Davidson in 2018. Purce scored after a bad clearing from the visitors after a free kick in the 85th minute, thanks to another USA substitution. Then, in the 90th minute, Sanchez added the finishing touch with a lobbed goal.
