new England revolution x Minnesota united

Today was Matt Turner's last appearance for the Revolution as he is set for his transfer to Arsenal in the Premier League. In goal, tonight for the Revolution was 22-year-old Djordje Petrovic, who appeared in his third MLS game. He has some big shoes to fill, and he showed us that he is ready with his five blocked shots of the night. Petrovic's first big save came in the 18th minute when he had to stretch across the goal line to get his fingers on the ball just enough to knock it off course. He would go on to have 2 more saves within the next 10 minutes. Unfortunately, a penalty kick that was awarded to Minnesota in the 36th led to a PK goal. Dylan Borrero evened the score to 1-1 with his goal in the 53rd minute. Gustavo Bou took a free kick in the 69th minute and managed to get the ball to the upper left side of the net for a goal to give New England a 2-1 lead, which later wound up to be the final score.
