Seattle Sounders x LAFC

On a beautiful day by the Puget Sound, the Sounders hosted LAFC for their third game in seven days in front of a sellout audience of 32,515 at Lumen Field. With star attacker Ral Ruidaz back in the starting lineup, Seattle was able to field a strong side, setting the stage for an entertaining battle against the current MLS Cup and Supporters' Shield winners, who have been the Sounders' primary Western Conference adversary ever since their 2018 debut.

Even Seattle's Bruce Lee-inspired alternate uniforms made their premiere. Unfortunately, there was no decisive moment in the match, and it ended up being more of a slow back-and-forth competition than anything else.

Even though both teams were playing with great energy, the game ended in a scoreless tie that left the host team one point behind the Black and Gold rankings due to poor finishing and energetic pressing.
