Atlanta United x Nashville SC

In a spirited matchup, Atlanta United hosted Nashville SC, marking their second MLS clash of the season. The eventful night, dedicated to Atlanta's 90s era and unveiling the new 404 Kit, witnessed an impressive performance by Atlanta United. Xande Silva and Saba Lobjanidze notched their debut MLS goals, while Thiago Almada and Miles Robinson also scored, sealing a commanding 4-0 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. These three points propelled Atlanta United's tally to 41, surpassing last year's total, elevating them to sixth place in the Eastern Conference, just two points shy of second.

The game's early dynamicity culminated in Silva, in his second MLS appearance, opening the scoring with a masterful shot. Silva's swift reception of Almada's long ball resulted in a remarkable low shot into the net's far corner. Silva's jubilant celebration included a graceful backflip, capturing the momentous occasion. Almada and Silva combined again for Atlanta's second goal in the first minute of the second half, with Giakoumakis facilitating Silva's nifty pass to Almada, who lofted the ball elegantly over the goalkeeper. Center-back Miles Robinson contributed the third goal, capitalizing on Almada's corner kick with a soaring header, enhancing his personal career tally. Silva's standout performance concluded in the 61st minute, making way for Saba Lobjanidze's club debut, and Lobjanidze concluded the night's scoring in the 87th minute with an ingenious shot. The result showcased Atlanta United's prowess and moved them closer to the upper echelons of the Eastern Conference.
