Atlanta United x New England Revolution

Midweek Major League Soccer action had Atlanta United hosting the New England Revolution. After falling behind 2-0 against the Revs in the first half, Atlanta managed to rally back at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to earn a 3-3 tie with goals from Giorgos Giakoumakis, Thiago Almada, and Miguel Berry.

With this win, Atlanta now has a four-game winning streak to be proud of.

It was Giakoumakis' replacement, reserve striker Miguel Berry, who scored the game-tying goal in stoppage time. Berry chested down a New England header in the 87th minute and then blasted the ball cleanly off a bounce for a spectacular volley. Berry's first goal with the 5-Stripes came in Major League Soccer.

Despite what seemed like a game-winning goal from Berry, New England salvaged a draw in stoppage time in the second half thanks to a bookend brace from Carles Gil. Despite a rough start, Atlanta United ultimately played well at home and came out with a point.
