LAFC x INTER MIAMI CF

David Beckham’s dream come to life, Inter Miami CF, finally had their inaugural MLS game facing western conference powerhouse LAFC. The LA side had just come off a massive comeback win against Leon by a score of 3-0 in the Concacaf quarterfinals. The first half was a neck and neck battle as both teams had good offensive production overall. However, just moments before the end of the first half, LA’s own Carlos Vela provided a much needed breakthrough by sinking a glorious chip to take LAFC ahead in the 44th minute. The second half started very much like the first half ended. Good shots and good defending paired well alongside the good goalkeeping. The game did however intensify with some shoving and pushing at the sidelines. In the 60th minute a yellow card was issued to Eduard Atuesta for tripping a Miami player. The game would come to an end after some last back and forth with LAFC ultimately securing their first victory of the season. #LAFC [Shot exclusivelyfor ICONIC by @vsqzj]
