LAFC faced Philadelphia Union at the Banc of California in a well fought battle. In a night full of incredible goals, Union forward Sergio Santos struck first with a shot outside of the 18 yard box that fell majestically into the net. A few minutes later, Carlos Vela scores with a stunning free kick to equalize it. Tension rose in the first half, resulting in four yellow cards. In the 48th minute, Jakob Glesnes scored an absolutely incredible free kick goal with a power shot from 35 yards to give Union the lead. LAFC responds quickly with Diego Rossi curling in one with the assist from Mark-Anthony Kaye. Philadelphia’s Brenden Aaronson scores in the 69th minute with a carefully placed shot inside the penalty box to beat LAFC’s goalie. LAFC wasn’t going down without a fight though, Eddie Segura scores in the next two minutes to again tie the game. The match ended in a draw with both teams giving it their all for 1 point a piece. LAFC’s quick rebuttals kept them in the match and avoid the loss at home. #LAFC #MLS #DOOP
