AUSTIN FC x COLORADO RAPIDS

Austin FC and Colorado Rapids played to a 1-1 draw in front of a sold-out crowd at Q2 Stadium on Saturday night, thanks to an early goal from Jon Gallagher and seven stops from Austin FC goalkeeper Brad Stuver. Austin got things going early, netting their first goal after only five minutes had passed. Sebastián Driussi saw Gallagher coming in on a break and hit him with a beautiful through ball. Gallagher finished the season's third goal meticulously with time and room in the area.

Then, Stuver stepped up big for Austin, making a diving save to thwart Jonathan Lewis for Colorado. Just before the break, Stuver made a great save by stopping Keegan Rosenberry's shot inside the near post. In the second half, Colorado kept up the assault on Austin's defense, but Stuver was up to the challenge of holding out the Rapids. Just after the hour mark, he made two incredible stops in rapid succession, one on Michael Barrios in a one-on-one scenario. Barrios would finally assist Kévin Cabral for a late goal as the Rapids came back to silence the crowd and end the match at 1-1.
