Nashville SC x CF Montreal

Nashville took on the visiting CF Montreal in a great showing of determination after falling behind by 2 goals early in the match for the second week in a row. The match would begin with two early breaking goals netted by Toye and Brault-Guillard in the 13th and 42nd minute respectively. This left Nashville heading into the locker room at halftime with a heavy two goal deficit. However, they came back out firing on all cylinders claiming a goal by Johander Cadiz in the 54th minute. As the match went on these two teams would battle for all three points. The action would climax in the 77th minute with Nashville’s Hany Mukhtar placing a beautifully slotted shot through traffic right to the corner giving Nashville a solid point on the day. Nashville’s performances so far this season have shown that even as they have fallen behind by two goal deficits twice now, they still have the willpower to claw back to life even if it is to rescue a point, and at the end of the day that one point means much more than no points at all. {Photos by ICONIC photographer Rachel Pearce}
